"Alcohol Server Training"

The New Mexico Liquor Control Act mandates that every liquor licensee or lessee who manages, directs, or controls the sale or service of alcohol and all servers who sell, serve or dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on or off the licensed premises must satisfactorily complete an alcohol server training program every five years.  This class provides all of the state-required training including the discussion of alcohol-related issues, server intervention techniques, methods for checking identification, and state laws and regulations concerning the sale and service of alcohol, liquor liability issues, and driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor. To receive certification, attendees must pass an examination with a score of 80% or better.  Participants in this class must be at least 19 years of age, and must present a valid state or federal photo I.D.
