The ENMU-Ruidoso Community College Board invites applications for the position of President of Eastern New Mexico University-Ruidoso. ENMU-Ruidoso, a branch of ENMU in Portales, is located in Lincoln National Forest and adjacent to the Homelands of the Mescalero Apache Tribe. A mountain resort town nestled in the Sacramento Mountains, Ruidoso provides hiking, camping, golf, winter sports, cycling, fishing, horse racing, and a nearby world-class casino-resort, the Inn of the Mountain Gods.

The college, serving approximately 700 students with a campus workforce of 75, is a Hispanic-Serving Institution, providing Lincoln County, NM, Mescalero, NM and the surrounding region with face-to-face and online academic and career technical programs. Preferred presidential applicants should possess an earned doctorate and experience in higher education academic and fiscal leadership. Candidates with master’s degrees plus substantial experience can be considered and are welcome to apply.
